Montreal Airport (ADM)
Montreal Airport (ADM) is a not-for-profit corporation without share capital and is responsible for the management, operation, and development of Montreal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (formerly Montreal–Dorval International Airport) and Montréal–Mirabel International Airport.
History
Since 2002, ADM uses the MyriadSuite solution in order to help them develop and better integrate their administrative and operational business processes. Using a close collaboration process between IT experts and ADM expert users, several mission-critcal web applications were deployed with great success.

Challenge
For several years, ADM has implemented many world-class operational and administrative software packages (SAP, etc). However, to supplement the services offered to the users, they needed a modern business application development and integration system which is efficient, inexpensive, compatible with in place technologies, and which rests on solid technological foundation.
Solution
ADM selected the MyriadSuite solution because it relies on the following Microsoft technologies: Windows Servers, .NET and SQLServer. Microsoft Technologies however need an additional framework in order to reduce project costs and to accelerate applications development in an important way. With this intention, ADM uses the following MyriadSuite productivity tools: XI-Factory; for its application analysis, design, and code generation capabilities, XI-Framework for its OWPA/AJAX/.NET standardized applicative infrastructure, and some strategic MyriadApp web applications to complement the solution.
Results
Since 2002, ADM has developed and successfully deployed the following data management web applications:

- Airport Fire station and Firemen activities Management
- Airport Secure Provisioning Management
- Airport Security Management
- Airport Urgent Call Distribution Management
ADM offers henceforth to its users, a powerful business center of on-demand applications which makes it possible to fill the applicative space between its software packages and front office applications like MS Word and Excel.
Training of the users is fast because the OWPA pattern recurring structures of the Web screens. The uniformity of the application infrastructure facilitates the support and increases the effectiveness and the fluidity of the development cycle allowing great cost reductions and thus encourages the new projects.
Because ADM Web applications have high level of performance, robustness, and usability, they were delivered to the total satisfaction of the business users, IT personnel and ADM managers.
