MyriadApp is based on our unique One Web Page Application (OWPA) design pattern. As its name implies, OWPA uses a single main ASPx file on a web server to generate the application user interface to be displayed in a web browser. This greatly reduces development complexity while enhancing application performance, interactivity, and robustness.

OWPA is implemented with AJAX

It delivers desktop-like usability, smoothness and performance to web browser-based applications. The potential of AJAX-based applications is re-energizing both the Application Service Provider and web-based application provider markets.

The main advantage of OWPA is related to its core design: It replicates, over the web, the power and ease of use of a traditional desktop application. And since OWPA is implemented with AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) it derives its usability from the following set of technologies:

• A single web page that is loaded to hold a "JavaScript application" and stay loaded with no page refresh between user requests;
• Data presentation using DHTML, HTML, XHTML, XSLT, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS);
• A bi-directional communication - synchronous or asynchronous - between the client's workstation and the web server using the XMLHttpRequest object, sending XML document with SOAP protocol over HTTP/HTTPS.
